History of ABC Package Express

ABC Package was founded in 1975 by the current CEO Don Sherry and his father Charles Sherry, when Don was fresh out of high school. Originally operating out of Don’s parents’ home, they started with just two vehicles and two way radios to communicate.

The business grew and Don’s wife Laura joined in 1996, followed by son Dan in 2002. In 2006, ABC had far outgrown its 200 square foot office in Chicopee, and moved to its current location in a 10,000 square foot facility in Springfield. Today, ABC operates a fleet of 70 delivery vehicles and makes deliveries everywhere in the country.
